The Teachings of my Lord

22 June 2008

Seeing without eyes

Hearing without ears

Walking without feet

Working without hands

Speaking without tongues

Thus dying while living

O Khalilloullah

Know this as the way unto the Lord to be attained through His divine law

In the true palace, my Lord has revealed the imperceptible to me.

Eternal is that palace,

No shadow of illusion covers it.

All evils are kept in check,

The ego is eliminated,

Sinful sayings and evil thoughts flee away. Such is the effect of the revealed divine knowledge.

He eliminates his ego from within himself,

He effaces the sense of the other and becomes one with the Lord.

We attain the treasure of love through God by dwelling on the

Essence of His Presence in us and all around us;

As for the pious woman,

She alone is the true one who loses herself in the Lord.

By decorating herself with the decree of God and the Divine Word,

The “bride” merges herself in the Lord.

She finds her spouse in her very own home

Through the infinite love of my Lord;

She who is the beloved of her Lord, O Khalilloullah

Is a happy wife,

She (the pious woman) is a queen among women.

She is intoxicated with the belief in the Unicity of God,

Through the advent of God’s Chosen One,

And is merged day and night with divine love which can unite her with her Lord

If ever she is abandoned by him (the spouse)

It is through the divine word and by immersing herself in the Lord’s love that she can meet Him (Allah).

Within us is the light

And from within the light emanates the sound,

We attune to the true Lord through the Word.

He within whom is lit the divine light

And within whom resounds the divine melody

Is emancipated from suffering by my Lord;

Within one rings the unstruck melody of the remembrance of God,

And within everybody shines the Light.

The rays of the Light spread out

And there is illumination within.

The compassionate Lord Himself creates and beholds it all.

The sweet unstruck melody rings ever within one and he is rid of fear and doubt.

Bring the firmament under the feet

O thou brave one and then listen thou to the divine melody coming from the

heavens above.

Many a kind of fragrant words and many a sweet melody did I hear and

then for me the temple and the church both become heretics.

Every day do I die and every day do I come back to life

Such is the method which my Lord hath taught me.

If a man realizeth not his self during his lifetime on earth,

Regrets will gnaw at him,

And thus will bring his soul towards destruction,

If a man knoweth not his self during this lifetime, the ills that may be in store

for him after death, he cannot even imagine.
