In the Name of Allah, The Gracious, The Merciful

The 9th December 2008, on the Day of Eid-ul-Adha, the members began the Eid of Sacrifice with Namaz Tahajjud, Namaz Fajr and Daras Quran as usual. Afterwards as one vibrating voice, our members began to recite the Takbir with tears in their eyes. Provision for a Nashta (Breakfast) has been made available for all those who were present. The Eid-ul-Adha prayer, lead by the Khalifatullah began at 8.00 O’clock in the morning. After the Eid prayer, Hazrat Khalifatullah (A.T.B.A) made a long sermon of more than two hours.

As soon as the Sermon ended, there was a collective duah and Takbir {“Allah-O-Akbar Allah-O-Akbar Laa-Ilaaha Illallah wal Allah-O-Akbar Allah-O-Akbar wa lillah-il-hamd” (God is Great, God is Great, There is none worthy of worship save God Himself, God is Great, God is Great, and all praises belong to Him alone)”} and then the Khalifatullah accompanied with some of our youngsters (Muntaka) went to the ladies’ side for some 5-10 minutes as per the tradition of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) to greet them Salaam and to give them some advices.

Afterwards, all the members, on one side the men and on the other, women, went outside to see the Khalifatullah making duah and Qurbani of an ox.

By the Grace of Allah, all went well, and then after that the men had dealt with the skinning and dividing of the ox into the appropriate parts, the Siraj Makîn prepared for all members some of the meat which has been sacrificed (Qurbani) for lunch, along with salad and soft drinks.

After lunch each member took their respective parts of the Qurbani and distributes some among themselves. The distribution of the meat finished, all brothers, sisters and children assembled to do the Namaz Zohr and Asr in congregation and then went home to distribute their share of Qurbani to the poor and families.

The next day of Eid-ul-Adha, the 10th December 2008, some members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam went to visit needy children and poor people.

A Journalist Lady from Denmark interviewed the Khalifatullah on questions pertaining to Islam and the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s).

While some of the members were still visiting the needy people and children, the rest of the Jamaat had already gone in the South-West of the Country for the inauguration of a new Mosque. After the Khidmaté-Khalq, the members went to join the other Jamaat members for the Inauguration of the Mosque. On this occasion also, the books of Hazrat Khalifatullah was given to put in the library of the New Mosque along with several copies of the Holy Quran.

Alhamdollillah, in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, the Saumtally Family also began construction of a new Mosque and a Madrassa and gave them to the Jamaat.

Also on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, several presidents and members from various countries sent their warmest wishes of “Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak” to the Khalifatullah and members in Mauritius. Some countries even took the Khutba Eid live, and due to communication facilities, some countries even got to beneficiate from different translations of the Khutba.

Unfortunately due to some communications problems at their levels, two countries have not been able to send their wishes on Eid Day. It is only the next day of Eid-ul-Adha that they successfully got into contact with the Khalifatullah, to present their “Eid Mubarak”!

May Allah help Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to spread all the more around the world so that the divine message, the teachings of Islam can reach far wide, to all corners of the world. Ameen.
