Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim

On the 4th April 2008, Hazrat Amir’ul Momeneen Muhyi-ud-Din made a special Jummah at Quatre-Bornes, surrounded by our members of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam. The Friday Sermon’s theme was on ‘Ghibat’ & ‘Jealousy’.

Furthermore, after the Khutba (sermon), a special programme was organised whereby our brother Mohammad Murraz presided the function. Then our brother Muhammad Chunnu spoke on how Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) addressed his Rab in Namaz & Zikr. Afterwards all other programmes which were presented by our other brothers, the Muhyi-ud-Din addressed the assistance in urdu, & also recited a heart-felt & loving urdu poem pertaining on the character & life of our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). The Muhyi-ud-Din recited the Verse 40 of Chapter 33 Al-Ahzaab, whereby Allah says that Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) is not the father of any man among us; and that he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of all prophets. Allah Indeed knows all things well.

After the discourse in urdu, the Muhyi-ud-Din gave a translation in creole; whereby he says:

“In Islam we do not celebrate birthdays, not even the birthday of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w). The latter had never celebrated his birthday like the Muslims of today are celebrating with such pomp.

Instead, we must seize this occasion to remember and practise the true teachings of Islam which Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) brought with much difficulty to mankind, through divine revelations. There is a Hadith where a question was put before the wife of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) – Aisha – what was the character (& life) of the Messenger of Allah. Hazrat Ummoul Momeneen Aisha replied, that Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) was the personification of the Holy Quran. That is, when you look at the Holy Quran, you will easily see the life and character of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) reflected in it, and when you see the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), it is as if you are seeing him, as a walking Quran because he had inculcated thoroughly into him the teachings of Holy Quran, and practice them in his daily life.

It is thus that he became a role model – a perfect model – for the whole mankind and Allah clearly honours him as such in the Holy Quran.

The coming of the Holy Prophet of Islam (s.a.w) was prophetised by the past Holy Books and Allah sent prophets before him to annonce about his coming.

The Quran Shareef is a book which englobes all teachings which were contained in all the past sacred books. These books, except the Quran was interpolated by the hands of man.

Each prophet had come for his own people, but Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) came as a Bearer of Glad tidings, and a Blessing for the whole universe. Islam preaches Tauhid (Unicity of Allah – God Almighty) and it is Allah Himself who gave the name of Islam to the religion brought through Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w). (Ch.5, V.4).”

There was also the inauguration of the ‘Ibaadat Khana’, an office (for the Muhyi-ud-Din & his Private Secretary Mr. Muhammad Bahaddin and a new branch of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in Quatre-Bornes.

Our brothers had a special Mulaakat with Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din in the new office, after Maghrib/Esha prayers. The function ended with the distribution of cakes & refreshment.

May Allah give us the necessary strength to please Him with the instructions and work which He has given us, to follow the example of our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and to follow his beloved Muhyi-ud-Din whom He has sent for the revival of the pure religion of Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) and all prophets and mankind. Insha-Allah. Ameen
