Friday Sermon

HAZRAT AMIR’UL MOMENEEN MUHYI-UD-DIN
AL KHALIFATULLAH

Munir Ahmad Azim

09 April 2010

(24 Rabi’ul Aakhir 1431 Hijri)

(Summary of Friday Sermon)

After having greeted everybody with the Salutations of Peace, the Khalifatullah read the Tashahhud, Taouz and Surah Al Fatiha and then he said:

My dear brothers and sisters, Humanity is in danger! I ask all of you to pray with lots of fervour and devotion for the safeguard of the human race. We made a pact with Allah that we would take the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as our model and that we would live our life in all circumstances according to the practices and way of life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). One of the great qualities which the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) possessed was that he was truly a blessing for all worlds.

Nobody on earth except the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) showed such deep affection and love for all humans. He was truly a perfect role model among all people, be them from among those who came before his advent, and even from among those who came after him; there would never be someone who equals him.

Today the world needs the firm and sincere adherents of this blessing of all worlds, whereby they will be ready to sacrifice their whole lives for the good of humanity. We, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, being his sincere followers, we must devote our whole existence to the service of humanity. Nowadays, the world needs our prayers.

The people of today have become really arrogant. They have discarded all divine favours which have been poured down upon them and they attributed all these to their own effort and intelligence, and at the same time they refuse to follow the directives which come from Allah, the High. Had they listened to what Allah told them for so long, they would have rallied themselves under the banner of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him). Now let me tell you that under divine instructions, the world, humanity at large faces a great danger; in their arrogance they are refusing to acknowledge the divine grace coming down from the heavens; they are only working for their own destruction.

A universal disaster (calamity) is impending; each country will reap what they sowed – their punishment will continue to be visible as a lesson for humanity, so that they can turn in repentance to Allah, and reform themselves. Remember my dear people that years ago I made such sermons, warning humanity about the consequences of their acts when they turned their back Allah and became poised in their arrogance, feeling that all powers are within their reach. Now, what happened? Through the calamities witnessed, Allah has reduced them powerless for all might is with Allah and within Him alone, the sole Creator, the Everlasting.

Here are some calamities which have struck countries around the world since the 1st April 2010 and my last sermon:

1 April 2010 – China battled to find 33 missing miners in a flooded mine at Xiangning, where 115 workers trapped for more than a week have been rescued and five bodies have been found. China’s second major mine disaster in 4 days. A gas explosion at a coalmine in central China kills at least 19 miners and traps 25. The explosion in China’s coalmine, the world’s deadliest, was second major mine disaster in less than a week. (2 Mine Explosions in Less Than a Week in China – Northern and Central China)

2 April 2010 – Dominican Republic hit by earthquake on 02 April 2010. Earthquake details: Magnitude: 3.2

4 April 2010 – There was an earthquake (Mag. 7.2) in Baja California Mexicali California on Sunday.  The quake was felt as far away as Las Vegas in Nevada.

5 April 2010 – Twenty-five miners were killed and at least four were still unaccounted for today after an explosion in a mine in West Virginia – the worst US mining disaster for more than 25 years. The explosion happened Monday at Massey Energy Co.'s sprawling Upper Big Branch mine about 30 miles south of Charleston.

5 April to 6 April 2010 – Killer Rainfall and mudslides: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after a 17 hour downpour that began on Monday 05 April 2010 and ended on Tuesday 06 April 2010. Torrential rains have caused floodings in which at least 77 people have died and 13 are missing in the entire Rio de Janeiro state.

6 April 2010 – Earthquake magnitude 7.7 in Sumatra, Indonesia.

7 April 2010 – A strong earthquake has occurred with magnitude 6.0 on Richter scale in Papua New Guinea at 10.33 pm 7 April 2010. The earthquake epicentre is located at 3.9 South latitude and 141.9 East longitude, 2794km Southeast of Kunak, Sabah.

However sad our heart may feel, but I must tell you that more calamities are impending; they would be coming in the forthcoming days, weeks, months, and years – Only the divine (Allah) can save you; not the power of so-called powerful countries and politicians. By the grace of Allah, whatever we have been informed, others do not know and thus we must pray a lot, if I may say pray constantly so that these great calamities do not reach humanity at large. A century has gone by and now we are in another century; the people of Europe and other big countries have been plunged into the darkness of infidelity and idolatry. We must pray a lot to Allah so that the love of the great benefactor of humanity, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) penetrates their hearts and thus be delivered from the malediction of idolatry. We must pray so that the Takbeer “Allahu Akbar” spread all over the world as swiftly as possible and that it spreads in Europe and the whole world before the great calamity strikes them; all Europeans and the other countries must rally them under the banner of the Unique God, Almighty Allah, Insha-Allah.

لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe.

Mentioned above is the love which the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) had for humanity and this love was unique, unequalled. To show people the right path, he sacrificed many a night and prayed fervently for them. These efforts affected his health, but he did not mind, and did not care to eat or drink or rest and have enough sleep so that people through his prayers to Allah can recognised the signs of Allah and submit themselves to Him alone. He did this so that they could be saved from perdition, to lead them towards salvation. He used many a night to wake up to implore Allah for them and stayed standing in prayer for so long that his feet used to become sore.

We can say without the least exaggeration that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) made all these sacrifices to assure the spiritual awakening of his people and humanity at large. Allah gave him (the Prophet) great protection and supported him a lot in all his difficult moments. We, his followers in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, must all the time take a lesson out of the great example of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). To enable progress to take place, for the good functioning of the Jamaat, we must sacrifice our all come what may. When we say that we believe in the Envoy of Allah, these cannot be insincere words (which are only said on the lips) – it must come from the depth of our heart. A true believer is the one who suffer great trials and accept these as of divine grace.

The greater the trials are, the greater the reward. The believers who have established themselves on Taqwa (piety, fear of Allah), they have no hesitation to do sacrifices of all kinds to spread Islam around the world and thus, no fear of creatures must hinder them from their goal, even if they have to give up their lives in the path of Allah. A believer is someone who is not a spendthrift; he does not spend more than his budget. He does not copy on the rich and is not thirsty to imitate them in spending extravagantly be it on happy occasions like weddings etc.

Islam has forbidden us to follow the customs of others blindly. We must be satisfied with what we have and live according to our means. The faithful is not one to hesitate when his sacrifice is needed; he places his faith and trust in Allah above all. Each of us must love peace and harmony; these are what bring progress and prosperity in a family, Jamaat and country. In the Holy Quran Allah has named our religion Islam, which means peace and the adepts of this religion are Muslims and when one of us meet one like us (Muslims) he salutes him with the salutation of peace “Assalam Alaikum” – Peace be upon you – and the other Muslim replies him by saying “Wa Alaikum Salaam” – Peace be upon you also.

Paradise, according to the Quran is called “House of Peace”. The Quran has put emphasis on the maintenance of order and peace. The Holy Quran has showed several means to spread peace and harmony in the world. For example, it shows how to reach peace of heart, how to keep one’s household in peace, how to bring about peace in one’s workplace, in the country and the entire world. Islam has given detailed teachings to create and maintain peace. For example, on the occasion of his last sermon, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) had said: “O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust… Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.”

This part of the sermon shows us a better means to safeguard the life and honour of others. It is our duty to protect the life, properties and honour of others (even if they be not Muslims); we must learn to respect one and all. These are guidelines which shall keep us in the right path and lead us to happiness, peace and prosperity.

Infidels are great opponents of Islam; the hypocrites are those who are allies of the infidels and wish with all their might the defeat of Islam and both of them (the infidels and hypocrites) devise plans everyday to destroy Islam and make it disappear from the surface of the earth and they think that with their evil powers they will be able to vanquish the Unique Lord, Allah.

They do not know that Allah has also a plan and His is a veiled plan. He prepares the instruments of their own destructions and lead them towards their ruin. They would want that Allah make angels come down on earth from the heavens to destroy them (like the burning of hellfire); they would await a sign, the manifestation of the wrath of Allah on them through a divine decision which put their evils to an end.

That day shall come when Allah shall appear before them. The fatidic hour of their destruction shall be pendent over their heads, like in the battle of Badr the face of Allah was visible in the clouds (that is, the battle was not even started when rain started falling. This caused great havoc among the infidels and thus gave the Muslims a great advantage for the Muslims in terms of strategies of war. Moreover the angels also descended upon the hearts of the believers to help them against the infidels of Mecca. Many Meccans saw with their eyes the angels come down on earth and thus the prophecy of “Quziyal-Amr – and the question is (thus) settled?” has been accomplished when their most arrogant leaders died one by one; even their leader whose name was Sayyidul Wadi (the Chief of the Valley).

At last all the homes of Mecca were in mourning. It was in this battle that evils were fought against and did not last long against the Muslims. The infidels and hypocrites wanted to be showed these signs of Allah and thus Allah did show them. The Muslim believers nowadays must fight back; there is no insult, no injustice and no affront that they are not doing against the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Has the time not come for Muslims to respond, instead of staying quiet and doing nothing to remediate the situation?

If a Muslim does not stand up now to remediate and close the mouth of the liars, if they let the infidels continue defame our beloved prophet (peace be upon him) and indulge the world into error, he will be responsible for this before Allah. With the knowledge which you possess, repel the attacks of enemies which they are doing against the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

Nobody can prevent the victory of Islam from happening. In the near future in all continents of the world the message of Islam shall be delivered under divine instructions and it shall be the same message that our noble Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had brought more than 1400 years ago and this shall bring about a spiritual revolution in the four corners of the world, Insha-Allah.

The Muslims consider the Holy Quran as a close book, but due to the favours and blessings of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Promised Messiah (on him be peace), this book has been re-opened for us today where we can take notice of all the verses and knowledge which Allah revealed to His Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) and in each epoch, each era you shall see these verses revive as if it is being actually revealed in its origin. There is nobody in this world who can pinpoint that the Holy Quran has not shown enough arguments to refute them.

Insha-Allah, we are the Jamaat who shall, through our humble efforts make spread the teachings of the Holy Quran in the four corners of the world. I address myself to those who are plotting to finish Islam; they can use all their forces to finish Islam, but they will not be able to do so. Nobody can harm in any way this religion; it is Islam which shall be victorious. From within it there is the power of Allah and no man in the power of man can fight against this almighty divine power. The sun and the stars can change their tract, the earth can stop turning on itself, but nobody in the world can hinder the victory of Islam from happening, Insha-Allah.

My deepest desire, one which is vibrating in me, such an idea which is taking the form of a body in me; as the Muslims are in a dire state, I wish to elevate their rank and place them on the path of honour, I wish that once again the name of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) be spread all over the universe. Each essence of my body, each breath of my soul will Insha-Allah be devoted to the fulfilment of that mission.

There is no power in the world which can hinder me from this route, when Allah the Almighty is with me and the one who tries to harm me in this noble path, Allah shall become his enemy and will not leave him unharmed. Truth shall triumph and once again the sun of Islam shall rise like the first time, Insha-Allah. This sun will shine in all splendour like it did at first. Truth must be victorious, Insha-Allah, but Allah shall delay this victory a little so that we do further efforts to turn towards Him, and do more sacrifices of our wealth and mundane pleasure to please Allah.

Before the coming of this great victory of Islam we shall undergo lots of trials, humiliations and disgraces. The renaissance of Islam demands the sacrifice of our selves. Which sacrifice to be précised? To die in His path (the path of Allah)! The life of Islam depends upon this death – in other words, we can say that it is in our death that there is life.

I tell you that Allah has not neglected this world, even now. He has established a Jamaat, yes! It is Him who has sent someone amongst you, a humble servant of His who sit among you and talk with you. It is today in our era that the divine grace is falling like rain spreading everywhere; it is such an exquisite and undefined blessing. The one who profits this blessing shall reap good, but the arrogant and those who reject this divine blessing, where they turned their backs to the Divine Manifestation and especially I’m addressing those people who have firsthand accepted then afterwards rejected it, they are like the tree which has dried up and does not reap anything do; it is spiritually nil.

Thus, I ask you to pray a lot and ask that there be brotherhood and recite the Darood Shariff a lot. This is an excellent means to acquire brotherhood. Do not do it like a routine, but consider it as a great gift which has been bestowed upon us through the advent of our beloved Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) and therefore you shall have at the end of the day delicious fruits and have your prayers heard, Insha-Allah.

We must live like good Muslims like taught by the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him); then the angels in the heavens shall intercede for us, Insha-Allah. Ameen.
